Even that we slept only few hours, we were full of energy at the morning. We had a good breakfast and fixed the dogs ready for the show.
The judge on Sunday came from Portugal, Mr Joao Vasco Pocas. 42 blacks were entered to the show.
Our dogs were all awarded with EXCELLENT. From our black minies, Peppi took the longest straw by winning the tough champion class and finally also by the placement, 3rd best bitch. We heard even more bigger news from the bullmastiff ring. Nearly 9 years old, my huge pride Buffer, INT & FIN & S & EE & LV CH, FIN W-02, BALT W-05 & -06 Heathkeeper's Be With Me went BEST OF BREED-VETERAN and finally 2nd best bitch over many top names from abroad!!! This was the most waited weekend of the year! The toughest shows of the year and chance to share it with all dear friends.
On Saturday at the Winner Show the judge was Mr Torbjörn Skaar from Sweden. 39 black miniature schnauzers were entered, and they came from at least 5 countries. "Titles are the girl's best friends..."
We started on Sunday with Piteå internatonal dog show. The judge was Jochen H Eberhardt from Germany. 20 black miniature schnauzers were entered, and one of them was our Peppi, FI & EE & NO CH, EEW-09 Heathkeeper's Front N' Center. The judge liked Peppi a lot and Peppi's handler liked judge's funny sense of humor. So suddenly we found ourselves once and again standing with BOB roset in one hand. Bob-puppy was our Phoebe's handsome brother "Harry", Perfect Touch When It Matters. Specialty Show at Sunday was inside a big hall, which was an excellent decision from the people whom organized the show. Participants were quite same as on Saturday, only judge was different: Gertrud Hagström from Sweden. Peppi ran at Hagström's ring to the fourth place. 1st places went, as I anticipated, to the Perfect Touch -kennel, magnificient congratulations Åsa ja Carina!!! FI & EE CH, EEW-09 Heathkeeper's Front N' Center "Peppi" travelled to the stunning mountain views to spend a weekend. At Trondheim's International Dog Show miniature schnauzers were judged by Mr. Espen Engh. 15 black miniature schnauzers were entered to this show.
The sire of our J-litter, FIN CH Backout's Yocothai "Jetro" travelled with us to he show. Judge Espen Engh placed Jetro first at black males. Soon after that had Peppi won the bitches. So best of breed competiton was all around finnish celebration. Peppi was finally BOB and Jetro BOS. Both dogs also sealed their Norweigian Champion titles. 20 black miniature schnauzers were entered and the judge was Mr. Bernardo Regazzoni from Uruguay. Mr Regazzoni was very strick with movement and we ran many kilometers or it felt so at least. Maija Mäkinen was tough as usual and Ebba was the only black with excellent, that made Ebba also BEST OF BREED. Tyra got VERY GOOD, and won her class.

As a year earlier, Matti Luoso was still convinced about Ebba's appearance. Ebba was the queen of a day, Luoso made her BEST OF BREED. 19 black miniature schnauzers were entered and the judge was Andrzej Stepinski from Poland. Heathkeeper's Front N' Center competed the first (and the last) time at open class. The judge was visibly impressed and placed our Peppi BEST OF BREED with a breathtaking critique: "Attractive, elegant bitch. Beautiful picture while standing. Clean in lines. Excellent shaped body. Very good angulations both ends. Elegant head with excellent expression. Moves well from any sight." FI CH Heathkeeper's Expect No Less "Ebba" forgot dog shows for a while and hitted to agility competition for a change. Ebba's brother Heathkeeper's Ever So Clever did the same thing. Both dogs did great tracks with their young owner's Annika and Marika. Dino got his second zero from 1st class and two days later Ebba took her third zero-result from 1st class with a top time and she moved right away to the second class!!

NEW FINNISH SHOW CHAMPION!!!!
Today was international dog show at Vaasa, our hometown. The judge was Mr. Tomas Rohlin from Denmark. Heathkeeper's Hard To Resist "Tyra", competed at junior class and Heathkeeper's Expect No Less "Ebba" at open class. Tyra is still a little baby girl in the middle of her developement. Therefore her prize "GOOD" was a realistic result.
Annika leaded Ebba again like a dream. Tomas Rohlin was very impressed about Ebba and placed her 1st best bitch. First place sealed Ebbas new title: FI CH. BOB was a male Stablemaster's Cold Hard Wind and Ebba was BOS. Heathkeeper's Hard To Resist: JUN G
